To be honest, I was having trouble what exactly erosion looked like near me, that why I have two examples. The first one was located on my walk to Pacheco, this area was as long as a beach board, and its hole was pretty deep. I believe that it is still experiencing erosion and the cause of it was rain water. The evidence that tells me this was the cracks and holes it has, I believe it has been eroding for 50 years! Finally the sediment was transported along the side walk.

Now for the second example, I found this in my hometown near Rancho bowling. This hole was also pretty deep and I believe that it is somewhat still experiencing erosion, the cause for this was definitely rain water. The evidence that explains this is the steepness of the whole and the missing soil/ cement around it/. I believe it has been eroding for 40ish year.

  This rock was about half a table wide. Its color is grey with some red areas around it. I believe its sedimentary rock because it has been compacted by cement. It is still happening through physical weathering and you can tell because of the cracks in the rock. Its not fully completed since the pieces are still in tacked. I believe the weathering has been happening for 60 years since these dorms are the second oldest in the University. Location: Outside Trinity Date: 04/12/2026 at 4:50pm

  I found this rock in the backside of my dorm, trinity, Friday the 3rd at around 8:30pm It was surrounded by a field of grass, concrete and it was the only patch of rocks in this area.  To be honest it is very similar to the other rocks but I specifically chose this one because it reflected more than the others. I believe this rock was made somewhere else and was brought to the school to add to the scenery. The photo on the left was the picture I took outside in the area. The photo on the right was the picture when I entered my dorm with hopes of getting better lighting. I used flash for both to try and get all the small details
